We are hosting our first tournament!
This will be an all-day tournament with four games. The event is AGA-sanctioned and results will affect official ratings. Players must be members of the AGA in order to participate. While we welcome new players, all players should know how to play the game at the start of the event.
Think Deeply. Go is an ancient game of abstract strategy between two players. A simple set of rules which lead to cosmic complexity. This game has a history stretching back thousands of years.
New Players are welcome. We teach regularly. The game has a robust handicap system that allows two players of different strengths to play fair and engaging games against one another.
Inclusive. Providence Go Club is an inclusive organization. We will not tolerate harrassment based on gender, sexual orientation, physical or mental ability, or race. We reserve the right to ban individuals who create or contribute to a hostile environment.
Thursday Nights, 7pm to 10pm
We meet in one of the open spaces at Farm Fresh. Our exact meeting location varies based on weather and on other events happening in the space.
